CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Mount Mercy's Jenna Higgins '13, a two-time NAIA national champion, will compete in the javelin at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Mount Mercy University has announced the completion of the purchase of Terex property to develop a multi-purpose athletic facility. The property, located at 909 17th Street NE in Cedar Rapids, consists of 36.4 acres, of which 22 acres are now owned by the university. Mount Mercy filed a rezoning application to the City of Cedar Rapids in February to begin the transition from industrial to office/service, which will allow for the property to become a space for athletics.
Mount Mercy University will make a major announcement on Friday, June 7, that will mark another historic moment for the university. The public is invited to a press conference on Friday, June 7, at 2:30 p.m. at 909 17th Street NE in Cedar Rapids.
MARION, Ind. -- Larissa Wilden became an outdoor all-American in the high jump for the second year in a row on Saturday and the Mount Mercy 4x100 meter relay team clinched the first all-America honor for a Mustang relay squad on the final day of the 33rd Annual NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University.
