KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Mount Mercy moved up two spots to seventh in the newest NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll and is one of six featured matchups vying to be the NAIA's Game of the Week.

After winning 10 straight games earlier this season, the Mustangs (18-2, 3-0 MCC) are currently on a seven-game winning streak that will be on the line on Wednesday at Grand View. Mount Mercy picked up victories last week at Clarke and at home against Iowa Wesleyan.

Eastern Oregon (20-1) is the top-ranked team in the nation for the second week in a row with 343 points. Midwest Collegiate Conference rival William Penn (19-1, 3-0 MCC) is up two places with 331 points, followed by Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) (19-2) with 319 points, Indiana Wesleyan (18-2) with 313 points and Northwestern (15-4) with 297 points.

Rounding out the top 10 are St. Thomas (Fla.) (15-3) with 274 points, Mount Mercy with 269 points, Warner Pacific (Ore.) (17-4) with 252 points, Embry-Riddle (Fla.) (16-3) with 250 points and Northwood (Fla.) (16-2) with 245 points.

The Mustangs look to stay unbeaten in the MCC when they travel to Des Moines on Wednesday to face Grand View (7-7, 2-1 MCC) at 7:30 p.m. at Sisam Arena. After that, Mount Mercy hosts William Penn in what could very well be the game of the week in the NAIA.

The NAIA has selected six games featuring ranked teams that are battling to become the NAIA's Men's Basketball Game of the Week. Voting is open now through Thursday morning on the NAIA's Facebook page. To vote for the game of the week, click here.
