KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Mount Mercy senior forward Josip Druzijanic has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer National Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced today. Druzijanic was chosen for his performance during the week of Sept. 30-Oct. 6.

Druzijanic set a school record with five goals in Mount Mercy's 6-0 victory over Culver-Stockton (Mo.) on Oct. 2. The Midwest Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week leads the league with 14 goals and 29 points. He ranks in the top 10 in the nation in total goals (6th/14), goals per game (8th/1.27) and total points (10th/29).

The Mustangs (7-4-0, 1-0-0 MCC) are at Viterbo (Wis.) in MCC action today at 3:00 p.m., then host AIB in conference play on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Lower Kingston Field in Cedar Rapids.
