WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Mount Mercy women's basketball team will enter the holiday break riding a three-game win streak after a 65-55 victory over Northwood (Fla.) on Saturday at the Hoernle Center.

Junior guard Christa Oldham had 15 points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Mustangs. Sophomore guard Makenzie Zeitler notched her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 boards. Senior guard Carrie Wood and freshman forward Abby Herb chipped in nine points apiece.

Sharnele Brown's game-high 20 points and nine rebounds led the Seahawks (4-6). Stephane Granada added 14 points, Atavia Blake 10. Erin Riley finished with six points, seven boards and four blocked shots.

Mount Mercy (10-4), which has now surpassed last season's win total, competes at the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic hosted by Coe this weekend at Eby Fieldhouse. The Mustangs face Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., then will play in either the consolation game at 1:00 p.m. on championship game at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
