KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its 2013 fall Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. A total of 13 Mustangs were honored by the NAIA.

The Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete programs recognize excellence in the classroom by student-athletes who are juniors or above in academic standing with a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

Cross country honorees include Tyler Hartley, Andre Moodie, Wendi Dunn and Mackenzie Holladay; men's soccer award winners are Veselin Karagyuarov and Aaron Lacy; honorees from women's soccer include Jerica Christensen, Taylor Eaker, Lauren Hoth and Nicole Morrow; and volleyball award winners are Deanna Knustrom, Kara Oakley and Kate Till.
