CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Mount Mercy University's annual High School Fall Baseball League and Showcase, which is open to high school athletes of all skill levels, is now taking registrations. The six-week fall league will run each Sunday from Sept. 10-Oct. 15, while the showcase will take place in late October.
All games will be played at the new home of Mustang baseball, The Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex in Cedar Rapids. All players must go to StatsPerfect.com and set up a player profile. When your player profile is complete, StatsPerfect will send you a formal invitation to register for the league.
Players forming a team must email Mount Mercy Assistant Coach Devin Fujioka or Head Coach Jack Dahm to request team registration information. The cost for full teams is $1,200 plus $25 per player for the showcase. Individual players will be placed on a free agent team coached by Mount Mercy baseball players. The cost for individual players is $150, which includes the showcase fee. The registration deadline is Aug. 23, 2017.
