Photo of Amir HadzicDAVENPORT, Iowa -- A balanced offense led the Mount Mercy men's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over St. Ambrose in Midwest Collegiate Conference action on Wednesday, giving Head Coach Amir Hadzic his 99th victory as coach of the Mustangs.

Freshman forward Enrique Cortina, who scored a goal for the fourth straight game and has a team-high six this year, got Mount Mercy on the board in the 17th minute. The Mustangs (6-3-3, 2-0-1 MCC) added two more scores in the first half by freshman forward Sid Beck and junior forward Marko Urlic and tacked on another by freshman midfielder Vladimir Virovkic in the 61st minute.

Mount Mercy has a non-conference game at William Woods (Mo.) on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in Fulton, Mo., before a four-game homestand that begins against Clarke on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Lower Kingston Field.
