The Mustangs (18-17, 3-5 MCC) clinched the fifth seed in the MCC Tournament and will travel to Clinton to face fourth-seeded Ashford (21-17, 4-4 MCC) on Saturday. The start time has yet to be determined. The Saints handed Mount Mercy a 3-0 defeat a week ago at Kehl Arena.

Freshman outside hitter Brittney Thomas added to her single-season school record with 10 more kills at William Penn. She now has 496 on the year, leaving her four shy of becoming the first Mustang in school history to reach 500 kills in one season.

Freshman setter Hope Baumgartner topped the Mustangs with 25 assists and 12 digs. Junior libero Beth Ripperger and junior defensive specialist Alexa Francois added 11 digs each, while Lampe, junior middle blocker Amanda Menke, and freshman middle blocker Allison Adams posted three blocks each.

Complete tournament pairings will be released on Tuesday morning at midwestcollegiateconference.com.
