MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- Mount Mercy junior Ross McLaughlin received honorable mention all-Midwest Collegiate Conference when the league's awards were announced this week.

McLaughlin played in all 10 events for the Mustangs, leading the team with a 76.4 stroke average over 21 rounds. That ranks eighth on the all-time list at Mount Mercy. He posted a pair of top-five finishes and was in the top 10 four times. McLaughlin's low round for the year was a two-under-par 70 in the final round of the Clarke Invitational in September.

St. Ambrose senior Dusty Drenth was the MCC Player of the Year. Grand View's Chris Winkel was chosen by his peers as the MCC Coach of the Year.
