DAVENPORT, Iowa -- Mount Mercy had four golfers in the top 10 and fell just three strokes shy of the tournament title at Saturday's Augustana (Ill.) Invitational at Emeis Golf Course.

Junior Laura Wilberg, a two-time all-Midwest Collegiate Conference selection, finished third for the Mustangs with an 85. In her first collegiate meet, freshman Anna Kallqvist carded a 90 to tie for sixth place.

Sophomore Bailee Goodfellow came in eighth with a 91, while freshman Anna Bachman debuted with a 92 to finish in a tie for ninth. Junior Kristine Kouba tied for 12th place after a round of 93.

The host Vikings edged the Mustangs by three strokes, 355 to 358. Conference rival St. Ambrose finished third at 365, Monmouth (Ill.) fourth with a 413.

Mount Mercy hosts the Mustang Four Ball Classic next weekend. Action gets underway on Friday at noon and Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion.
