MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- Mount Mercy senior forward Petar Triva has been named Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 6, the league announced today.

Triva scored four goals and recorded two assists in a pair of Mustang wins last week. He set a school record with four goals in Mount Mercy's 7-2 victory over Rockford (Ill.) on Sept. 1. Triva also had an assist against the Regents to tie the school mark with nine points in the contest. He added another assist in the Mustangs' 3-0 win over Dordt on Sept. 4.

Mount Mercy (2-1-0) hosts Cornell in non-conference action on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Lower Kingston Field.
