OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- Three members of the Mount Mercy women's soccer team were named all-Midwest Collegiate Conference by a vote of league coaches, the league announced today.
LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Fourth-seeded Mount Mercy gave Viterbo (Wis.) all it could handle, but the top-seeded V-Hawks eliminated the Mustangs from the Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Tournament with a 2-0 victory in Saturday's semifinal.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Senior forward Kandice Kiernan has been inching toward Mount Mercy's career scoring record. She closed the gap a little more on Saturday, accounting for both goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime, to give the Mustangs a 2-1 victory over Clarke in the quarterfinals of the Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament at Lower Kingston Field.
OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- Junior goalkeeper Jerica Christensen was named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this fall as the Mount Mercy women's soccer team earned home field advantage in the quarterfinals of the MCC Tournament for the first time in school history.
