OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- Mount Mercy senior outside hitter Brittney Thomas became a four-time, first-team all-conference selection and freshman middle hitter Kristy Lueken earned honorable mention when the 2012 Midwest Collegiate Conference volleyball honors were announced on Friday.
DAVENPORT, Iowa -- Mount Mercy wasn't about to go quietly in the Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament. The sixth-seeded Mustangs took third-seeded St. Ambrose to the brink, but the Queen Bees pulled out a 25-20, 22-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-13 victory in Saturday's quarterfinal match at Lee Lohman Arena.
