OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- After leading Mount Mercy to double-digit wins for the third straight season and fourth time in the last five years, six Mustangs garnered all-Midwest Collegiate Conference honors, the league announced today.
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Top-seeded Grand View scored twice in the opening period and added another score in the second half to end second-seeded Mount Mercy's hopes of a second straight national tournament with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs in the championship game of the Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Tournament at the Cownie Complex.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Second-seeded Mount Mercy scored early, then made that goal stand up despite playing a man down for the final 30 minutes of the match in Sunday's 1-0 victory over sixth-seeded William Penn in the semifinals of the Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Tournament at Lower Kingston Field.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- For the second time this season, Mount Mercy junior midfielder Juan Maffey has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Mustangs to a pair of wins and the second seed in the conference tournament.
