MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- Mount Mercy's Amir Hadzic was named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Coach of the Year for the second straight season and five Mustangs garnered all-conference awards, the league announced this week.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The pairings for the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round have been released, and Mount Mercy travels to Hastings, Neb., to take on second-ranked and defending national champion Hastings (Neb.) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Lloyd Wilson Field.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The eighth installment of the 2011 NAIA National Men's Soccer Players of the Week have been announced, and Mount Mercy senior goalkeeper Josh Putz has been named the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 25.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- Sophomore midfielder Juan Maffey and senior goalkeeper Josh Putz, two instrumental players in Mount Mercy's run to a share of the Midwest Collegiate Conference title, have been honored by the league.
