Mustangs Secure Third Place at BPA Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic
ADDISON, Ill. - The Mustang men's bowling team placed third over the weekend at the BPA Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic, held in Addison.
The Mustangs secured yet another top five finish on the season after recording a total pinfall of 8817. Calumet St. Joseph took home first place with a pin count of 8962 while Wisconsin Whitewater ended in second at 8947 pins. On the individual side, Jacob Bockstie finished with another all-tournament team nod, ending in second place with a total pin count of 1211, just 12 pins off of first place. Bockstie would bowl a tournament high 265 in his third game, while bowling four of five games over a 240.
Blake Walsh would also land inside the top 15, ending with a 14th place finish after registering a total pinfall of 1131, good for an average of 226 over the course of five games. Walshbowled four games above 220, including a high of 255 in game four.
The Mustangs will return to the lanes in two weeks at the Cedar Valley Invite in Waterloo.
