Sigwarth's Under Par Round Leads Mustangs to Second Place Finish at William Woods Spring Invite

FULTON, Mo. — Mount Mercy University claimed a solid second-place finish at the William Woods Spring Invite on Monday, wrapping up with a team score of +4. Wil Sigwarth's impressive performance, shooting a 1-under-par, was pivotal in elevating the team on the leaderboard.

The William Woods B team placed first, shooting a one over par round as a team, while the Mustangs would finish just three shots behind. The William Woods varsity team would end four shots back of the Mustangs, while Bethany (KS) rounded out the top four at 10 over par.

Andrew Brown and Frank Haege both tied for ninth, each delivering rounds of +1, providing essential support to the team's strong finish. Lincoln Beckett concluded his round in 18th place, scoring +3, while Zephyr Zhong's +4 placed him in 24th. The Mustangs showcased a commendable team effort against a competitive field.

The Mustangs will next hit the course at the Lark Invitational in Kansas next week.
