Mustangs Win BPA Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic

ADDISON, Ill. - The Mustang women's bowling team came out on top of another tournament over this past weekend, taking home the team title at the BPA Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic.

The Mustangs ended with a total pinfall of 8163, beating the next closest team, Judson, by over 130 pins. Northwestern Ohio would round out the top three teams with a total pinfall of 7989, as Mount Mercy and Judson were the only two teams to surpass the 8000 pins mark.

Individually, Tori Franklin led the team with a top-10 finish, ending in tenth with a total pinfall of 1054, good for an average of 210.8. Franklin's best game would be in the fourth as she would bowl a 236. Savannah Dickson would also land inside the top-20 after registering a total pinfall of 1010, good for an average of 202.

The Mustangs will return to the lanes in two weeks, taking on the Cedar Valley Invite in Waterloo on January 31.
