Bothe Caps Off Stellar Freshman Season with Third Team All-American Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The NAIA national office has announced the latest list of women's golf all-Americans, as Chiara Bothe earns third team honors.

Bothe becomes the first Mustang since Paula Ketchum in 1995-96 to earn all-American honors, and just the third women's golfer in school history to earn the recognition. Bothe had a sensational freshman campaign, tying a school record for wins in a season with six, including a top three finish in another tournament. Bothe would average a 76 per round, and earned not only the Heart of America Freshman of the Year, but was also named Heart of America Player of the Year as she helped lead the Mustangs to their second conference tournament championship in three seasons.
