Knepper Advances to Finals in Steeplechase at Nationals

ASHVILLE, N.C. - Mount Mercy's women's track and field team kicked off the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on a strong note as Abby Knepper advanced to the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Knepper placed second overall in her preliminary heat with a time of 10:52.95, securing a spot in Friday's final, which is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. CDT start.
