Bio

J.J. Schwennen is entering his sixth year as a member of the Mount Mercy University Mustangs baseball coaching staff, serving as an assistant coach and working closely with the program’s pitching staff. Schwennen worked alongside Head Coach Jack Dahm from 2018–2023 as the team’s full-time pitching coach, playing a key role in the development of Mustang pitchers during that span. He continues to assist with coaching responsibilities that support the team’s competitive efforts in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
